tip of an iceberg

This is a poem i dedicated to a friend

no longer with us, but will be forever remembered

as brief as the time we got to know each other,

as brief as it is,

destiny tore us apart

i asked if you ever touch the sky and reach out to heaven,

And i took you by the hand, up we raise.

We were this close to heaven,

i left you at the rooftop, momentarily,

i left you, on your own.

Then i came back for you

You were no longer there

Falling off the building

What were you thinking when you stand at the edge and lose your footing?

Did you fall on your own?

Did someone push you?

Is it that something pull you off the edge?

We were this close to heavens.

I hope the angels lift you up to the heavens

i offer you salvation

but i deprive you off the savior

i have only given you the tip of an iceberg

i thought it would be sufficient

to be an evangelistic

not realizing that i should be a teacher and

a missionary too

Being a Christain is not a role but an identity.
