Sorbet is actually frozen fruity ice cream. Yummy and vitamin luscious....

The white pieces are meringue...
i think the eating process might be quite messy.













I must be swift in this. Decorate them in time before
ice-cream melts in our hands.
However, i still do not get how to get those "fishy eyes." Use little candy?










Beautiful, right! I can feel the ice cream melting in my mouth as i dig into the crunchy cookies....
i can use all flavor of cookies: OREO, chocolate, strawberry and many more...









Turtle cake....wow...what could be cuter than this...however...i like the little one better !

Castle...fit for a princess to eat and live in...(haha) i am thinking to freeze it in 2 parts, then can put up last minute (during the celebrated moment)

Fun craft presentation

These are the few methods we can apply in gift presentation to create an impactful impression.

i love these paper bag. A little decor can make so much different and modified to suit any occasions. Perfect!

Candies are sweet so are the containers should be !

The cookies transparent wrapper. A good idea ! i can modify it to fortune cookie (in my case: blessing cookie)

The flower pots are super cute, with the lollipop as the nectar and the stalk !

A frog jumping out of a box ...suspensing and full of SURPRISE!

This is just the normal candy type of wrapping, but the upper part is crafted to look like lilies or roses...simple yet creative touch!

Meringue on the top of a cookie...smooth idea...like it (will use as next birthday plot)

This could be stuck to the base of polystrene and offer to visitors as treat and delight !

Paperbags affordable, tangible and chameleon!

Don't throw away the pieces of old clothes, reuse them as goodie bags !Be environmental -friendly!

I am thinking if using the tea bag of Lipton as scented bag! Good idea...refreshing !

that marriage would not simply be the joining between a man and a woman

to fulfil the Great Commision

where one can do just that much

two can do much more than that

i believe there will be another height in my life

where i would no longer be alone

but has found my.....vocation

i could not sleep or wink for nights

meals do not please me

it was torturing

i have been praying and comforting myself

last night, i reached my finale

and feared that i may faint and falter

if i do not sleep any longer

then i prayed, "if it is your will,

i shall pray for my life partner....

And i had a sound sleep that i was so deprived off.

Waking up this morning,

i was humbled by God's guidance and leading

that i finally believed that God

really does prepare a chosen one for us.

And we have to submit.

It is the way God tells us that, "He is the one for you."

I believed.....finally.

As i always do

i asked Ah Kuan , "Do u like writing?

Are you interested to write your testimony?"

Actually i have prepared some testpad in case she wanted to write on the spot

somemore, i saved my and Kok Wei's blog posts on my computer

to show it to Kuan

Blog is my baby, i always show it to everyone. (grins)

That night, Kuan confessed to me that she liked to serve

She may be lacking of idea, but she likes to help out

In my opinion: serving should be fun, enjoyable and stress-less

"trifle" making is a gift to us:

because God has always put into my heart

to recruit people as assistant and back-ups in the church

and what she said is a reminder and a motivation to me

I was late to prepare Holy Communion

well, Chee Woon helped us to wash and dried the utensils

i was rushing like a madwoman

my usher leader / shepherd

helped me to wear on my usher nametag

wow......the atmosphere and the spirit of the church

is so touching

full of unity (carrying each others burden)

initiative (go with the flow)

sweet-spirit (your task is mine too)

On the Saturday (a day before the Sunday: the long awaited day)

it was supposed to be a shepherding time with my sheep

i always felt that i did not meet up with

her expectations nor

God's works in her through me

i would not consider it a failure but a struggle

i have certain persistence in my actions and speech

and my way to convey a message

i used all four languages of love out of the total 5:

Acts of Service, Gift, Time and Physical Touch. (on regular basis)

I despised "Words" in a way, i had a perception that

people with "all talk has no substance and practicality."

i have been holding back so long and so hard on

giving the Words of God and saying in biblical terms.

i just can't make myself into a

teacher of the law and words even that

my profession is teaching.

How absurd!

Well, profession and spiritual gifting are 2 things.....

My sheep walked all the way to my house

to help out in the trifle making,

then we walked all the way to buy the ingredients.

i was seeing so much of her great personality and good characters.

this "trifle" incident was a close-up encounter with my dear sheep.

along the way, through our conversation

something twinkle in me

"character and attitude."

after that, we started our shepherding based on the title

well, it served the purpose.

it opened a new door in our relationship.

the "trifle" was a gift for us:

shepherd (me) and sheep (RS)

this is no ordinary birthday celebration nor preparation.

this is a birthday gift given by God to the celebrated:

Shee Yan, Ryan and Jackie (a brother from KB who is now doing his practical here)

What is the story of "trifle" all about?

This is how it gets started.

A month ago, i asked my sister SY what is the cake she favored for her birthday.

Well, she did requested for ..... (i think fruit cake)

Ehm...i was dazed.

When a request is made, i must be faithful.

The first week of the month of July was supposed to be the monthly birthday party.

But Ryan was outstation.

Something ran on my mind that moment.

i said to myself, " it must be God's will.

i must do something special.

But....next week is SSS, student sunday service.

Then....how? What if clashed? What if.....??? "

Many ideas rushed through my mind.

Then i saw the "trifle" recipe online.

Again, " God's will ."

Then the next step, would be the ingredients, preparation and presentation:

I thought of the cocktail glass champagne in our church.

Ehm.... Then i msn ed with my leader asking for her permission.

Well, i must say it was a grueling experience.

There was actually a long list of procedures i must submit to.

i waited in anticipation as i looked upon the steps (1), (2) and (3).

Finally, request granted. "OK"

3 times in a row, " God's will ."

"If it is your will. Then it will be done."

i hope i can learn how to do this..

i think they are not cream based

but gelatin

that' s why they looked so solid and easy to shape

i wonder how long it takes to shape for 1 set????
